Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Effective: August 14, 2026

This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and explains which tracking technologies we use on www.solutechwest.com, what they do, who provides them, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to recognize it on later visits. In addition to cookies, we use:

  • Tracking pixels (also called tags or web beacons): invisible images or code snippets that record that you visited a page or took an action.
  • Local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage): browser areas where preferences and session data are kept.
  • Device identifiers and basic fingerprinting: a combination of technical data (browser, operating system, screen resolution) that helps distinguish devices.
  • Embedded SDKs and widgets: third-party components such as the video player, the meeting scheduler or the chat widget, which may set their own cookies.

We refer to all of these as "cookies" throughout this document.

First-party and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are set by solutechwest.com. Third-party cookies are set by the providers named in section 3.

2. Our consent model

Before you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are active. No analytics, advertising or optional functionality cookie fires until you affirmatively accept it in our consent banner.

  • Accepting and rejecting are equally easy: both buttons are identical in size, color and prominence.
  • Closing the banner without choosing means rejecting, never accepting.
  • You can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie preferences" button in the footer, in the same number of steps it took to accept.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid advertising opt-out and confirm it on screen. Its absence is not treated as consent.
  • Your preference is stored for 12 months, or until you change it or clear your browser cookies.
